The Latoya and Joe Dawkins Miracle Child Foundation

Our Foundation, through visionary leadership, healthcare industry expertise, and charitable giving, is dedicated to strengthening the delivery of comprehensive infertility patient support services and wellness for infertility couples.

Help Light the Way

We believe in providing a helping hand to those in need.  Our Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing financial support for those struggling with infertility in the United States. The grants awarded will give couples that do not have insurance or the financial resources to pay for infertility treatments the possibility to fulfill their dream of holding their miracle baby.

In hopes of doing this, the Latoya and Joe Dawkins Miracle Child Foundation endeavors to establish multiple grants throughout the year to recipients.

Mission

Our Foundation not only provides grants to infertility couples but also serves as a gateway to connecting them with third party financial assistance programs, volunteers to help with eligibility questions, and counseling throughout the fertility continuum.

Our Beliefs

We believe in providing a helping hand to those in need. Through experience in the healthcare industry space, we have identified the gaps in the delivery system for infertility patients and we are dedicated to raising awareness about infertility as a curable medical condition, raising funds and award grant monies to patients to help offset the cost of fertility treatments, connecting patients with third party financial assistance programs and volunteers to help with eligibility questions, serving as a gateway to counseling services throughout the fertility continuum, and connecting patients to educational tools to aid them on their journey. Our strategic partnership with fertility clinics and healthcare partners help infertility patients nationwide.

Our Foundation understands that having a child is not the last step. It is a lifelong commitment to the rearing, nourishment and guidance of a life. Many children every day go without access to comprehensive healthcare resources. 1.9 million children have diagnosed depression. My husband described himself as a “blue child.”  His clinical depression, despite being celebrated as a scholar throughout his formative years and becoming a football and track star, manifested throughout his adult life.

In honor of his memory, our Foundation’s sister nonprofit, Breaking Blues, Inc., partners with donors to build a network that empowers and improves the lives of children with diagnosed depression. By supporting designated children sports and music enrichment programs, two of Joe’s myriad of talented gifts, and offering grants to attend these programs, Breaking Blues aims to provide opportunities for early diagnosed children to keep active and have fun.
Join us in lighting the path for babies fighting to get here and those fighting to stay.
